When taking this photo I was facing the sun in order to capture the shadows that  were cast by the trees which I like.  I think there is good contrast however I think that the trees and the shed are a bit too dark, so I could have exposed it for a few seconds shorter.  I like that the shed is not quite in the center of the image and the light coming through the trees crosses the image diagonally.

I left some space in front of my subject to create a feel that she was moving forward through the image.  There is a good range of contrast but I think I should have exposed the image for two or three seconds shorter because my subject is very dark,  I wanted her to bee a bit dark to create a bit of mystery but I think she is just a nit too dark.  I could have also timed the photo better but snapping the image when one foot was off the ground to create more movement rather than both feet on the ground as they are in this image.  It is a little bit fuzzy so I should have been more careful when focusing the camera and/or the enlarger.

This is my favorite photo from this project just because she looks so happy.  It's called pure joy because I think that is what is shown in the photo.  She is looking out o the image so it makes you wonder what she is looking at.  I think it was exposed nicely and there is a good balance of contrast. I think that I could have put her off to the other side so that there would be more space in front of her rather than behind her.

I can't remember why i decided to take this photo but overall I like it.  I think the exposure was just right, there is a good contrast with blacks whites and grays, I correctly chose to use a shallow depth of field.  It makes me feel very wintery, with the smow in the background and the teabags make me think of hot tea.  As composition goes I should have followed the rule of threes (or odds) to make the photo more interesting.

This photo was taken of my good friend, Krisanne.  I named the photo "Caught off Guard" for the reason that she was not paying attention while I took the photo and she was literally caught off guard.  I think this photo is a little bit different than many portraits because typically portraits feature the subject smiling or in an unnatural pose where in this photo it was completely natural.  I think I correctly followed the rule of thirds by setting my subject off to the side a little, however it could have been followed more accurately.  In terms of exposure, it could have been better, I could have added a filter to increase contrast.

I like this photo because rather than capturing the scary part, I captured the fun part of  Halloween and Autumn in general.  It makes me want to carve a jack-o-lantern or make a display of gourds and haystacks.  I think the angle is fairly interesting.  I titled this photo "Autumn at the Market" because it was literally Autumn and I was at a farmer's market.  I think I was pretty successful with getting the right exposure, considering this photo was mistakenly taken with color film.  This photo could have been improved by setting the image on the rule of thirds or following the rule of threes, or odds (thee are 12 pumpkins/gourds

I like this photo because I think it captures the general feel of Halloween.  Graveyards are pretty typical  of Halloween.  There is a good amount of contrast in the background of the photo.  I used a technique called dodging in order to get the correct exposure of the background and foreground.   I think the focal point is pretty clear in this photo. I like how the headstone is cropped off the page a little and to the side rather than in the center of the image and you can see some of the detail that hasn't been eroded over the years.  Overall, I think this is a good photo that captures Halloween in an accurate way.
