Final Critique of Advertisement
Tori and I made an advertisement for Canon cameras, specifically the Canon EOS 600D. At the inception of our project, we decided on a simplicity theme, to attract people like us who wanted to pursue photography, but did not want to be intimidated by large cameras an complicated controls. We chose the Canon EOS 600D specifically because it is an easy to use, fairly small digital SLR that takes high quality images with interchangeable lenses. For the most part, I think our ads captured the mood that we established with our mood board. Though some ads turned out better than others, I think that overall the advertisement was good. I think that we gave enough on our ads to catch the attention of the audience but little so that the person would research the camera themselves. I think our advertisement was successful in what we wanted to attain.
